We invite you to participate in an important online forum to discuss critical issues impacting your schools. This forum will provide a platform for members to share concerns, ask questions, and engage in open dialogue on the following topics:
- The Importance of the Board Attorney:
- Understanding the role and responsibilities of the board attorney in navigating legal complexities related to immigration enforcement.
- Importance of Training Staff:
- Immigration laws and policies.
- Appropriate responses to encounters with immigration authorities.
- Resources available for immigrant families.
- Building Security:
- Addressing concerns regarding building security and protecting all students and staff within the school facilities.
- Member Concerns:
- This forum will also provide an opportunity for members to raise any other concerns or questions they may have related to immigrant families and deportation.
